Opened in Spring 2001, Hotel Le Cappellette is located inside the historic Renaissance palace, Imperiali Borromeo Palace, known as Le Cappellette and conveniently situated at the very heart of the city, near the Basilica of St. Mary Major. Spanish Steps, Colisseum and Termini Station are within walking distance. The area has many shops, department stores and restaurants frequented by Romans. Piazza Vittoria, the city's largest outdoor market is only a few blocks away. The hotel has 40 comfortably furnished rooms. All rooms have a very "Tuscan" feel, with their wood floors, whitewashed walls and antique-style furniture. Some rooms overlook Santa Maria Maggiore, next door. All rooms have air-conditioning, direct-dial telephone, amazing soundproofed windows, satellite TV, safe, mini-bar, luggage rack. Bathrooms have excellent showers or bathtubs with glass partitions, and hair dryer. Breakfast is served at the hotel’s dining room. Parking is available next to the hotel. There is no smoking allowed anywhere in the hotel.
