| Hotel Description |
Opened since February 2000, is located in a marvelous palace, dating back to the first years of the XX century, in the heart of Rome, very close to the Vatican Walls. All its 88 large rooms (200 beds in total) are fitted with private bathrooms with shower, air conditioning, color Sat-TV, direct dial telephone, electronic safe, hairdryer. The house is surrounded by a silent and luxuriant green park and it's equipped with its own private wide bus and car parking. The restaurant offers typical Italian dishes and the 130 seat conference room can receive all kinds of lectures and meetings. From the terrace on the 5th floor, where a very well led catering service is active during summertime, you can admire one of the most wonderful views upon the "Eternal City". The Casa Bonus Pastor is classified as a religious house (because it's owned by the Vatican) but is in all respects a 3 star superior hotel; is served by public buses 46 and 49 which lead directly to the historical center of Rome. |

| 24.05.2007 Marshall Spoto (Tampa, Florida) I actually didn't stay here, but we did eat here and I assure you this is the best deal in Rome. A full course meal only 15 Euros. I was there in May 07. It's also close to the Vatican and the hotel appeared to be very good and they speak English. The busses 46 & 49 stop close to the hotel if you want to ride to the Vatican or Vatican Museum. | | |
| 24.05.2007 Joe LaRosa (California) My family stayed at Casa Bonus Pastor for several days in August 2006. Our stay was marvelous. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The bonus not to be overlooked is that the rooms are air conditioned. The location relative to everything in the Vatican and Rome meant we were a short bus ride to every site we wanted to see. The grounds are beautiful. Casa Bonus Pastor was key part of our family trip of a lifetime being so wonderful. | | |
| 09.10.2006 dickpill (south carolina) Stayed six times in last five years. Almost hate to share this gem. Great price, bus service, friendly, spacious grounds mean quiet and free parking for those with cars. Its a long hike up hill at the end of the day, but a 5 Euro cab ride will get you home from almost anywhere in central Rome. | | |
| 28.08.2004 Troiani (California) Our relatives in Italy had
recommended this fabulous place.
Very clean, very reasonable,
and beautiful grounds.
Is within walking distance of
St. Peter's Square.
Concierge and Nuns, were
manning the desk and even
the bar during our stay!
Breakfast was great.
We were there in November (very quiet)
but it was a wonderful experience.
I highly recommend Hotel Bonus Pastor ! | | |
